The children come to Mass with the family and then before the readings they receive a blessing from the celebrant and leave the sanctuary with their Sunday School teachers. The Scrutinies are rites of conversion and repentance and the prayers of intercession are intended to deliver the R.C.I.A. candidates from sin, protect them from temptation and invite them closer to Christ.

On every First Friday we offer Benediction and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. in the church. In today's fast-paced and stress-filled world, this offers an opportunity to spend a few moments in silent prayer and reflection.
