PARISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM – FAMILY STYLE
Students in K-8th grades who do not attend a Catholic School should be attending PREP.
The focus of our Religious Education program is to foster faith formation in our community by supporting families in sharing the gifts bestowed at Baptism and help prepare students for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Communion and Confirmation. The most important part of our program is attendance at mass each week. Our curriculum will encourage Bible literacy and a love of Jesus.
Starting in September on one Wednesday of the month we will have a Family Night at 6:30 p.m. We will have faith sharing at each Family Night and some of our students will receive a self-driven packet to complete. Sacramental years (grades 1st, 2nd, 7th & 8th) will also meet on two additional Wednesday evenings for Sacramental Preparation from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Registration forms and schedules are available in the narthex.
