For the past couple of weeks we have been celebrating the 2016 Graduating 8th grade class of St. Peter the Apostle School. We are very proud of these kids and we are excited for them as they continue onto the next chapter in their life’s journey. Please keep them all in your prayers as the leave our fabulous school and go on to to set the world on fire!

The Men’s Club of SPA sets the concrete for their annual SIGN HERE dedication slab. This has been a tradition as St. Peter’s for as long as we have been here…THANK YOU Men’s Club for helping us celebrate another graduating class!
A longtime tradition is the passing of the torch (so-to-speak) from the 8th Grade Class to the remaining students through their “Last Wills and Testamentary Ceremony.” This event is always full of kicks and giggles and often times a few surprises!

Every one of our kids are WINNERS, but on this particular night Laine Richardson and Eddie Ramsey were awarded special academic scholarships by the Knights of Columbus, Islands Council.

Even Monsignor was recognized as a special graduate! The children awarded him with the prestigious “Costigan Award” for having been the celebrant of 45 graduation ceremonies! Congratulations Monsignor! We are proud of you too!!

And…of course with any major achievement there is a major celebration! Here are a few highlights from the Graduation Dinner last Thursday…where it seems EVERYONE got their groove on (including Monsignor and Fr. Paul).
