Bishop Hartmayer was recently asked about finishing his third year here in Savannah. When asked if there was any specific event that stood out for him personally, he replied:
“Yes, recently I was impressed and touched with how grateful the 58 eighth graders from St. Peter the Apostle Church were during their confirmation. Not only have they raised $11,000 for fresh water in Ethiopia in the past two years, they actually thanked me for confirming them.”
We are so very proud of these children!
