Last Friday, March 21st, St. Peter's the Apostle Parishioners took turns holding the line during its designated day to stand vigil for the 40 days For Life Campaign. Many of those who attended this peaceful event made comment about how moving it was and what a profound impact it had on their hearts. We hope we also reached the hearts of those coming and going through the abortion clinic that day.
This vigil will continue through Easter. Feel free to go any time and stand with whoever is there during these days leading up to Easter. All are welcome to share in this prayerful event.
Dennis Conlon, the coordinator of St. Peter's Right to Life Ministry, shared that during his vigil, the Imam (religious leader) from the Mosque across the street from the abortion clinic came over to share that they too were praying for the right to life mission, and that they were praying for us who stood vigil. What a wonderful way to show this community coming together in support of one mission, one prayer at a time.
