Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
RCIA The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) begins with their entry into the catechumenate and reaches its culmination in a single celebration of the three sacraments of initiation:
- Baptism which is the beginning of new life;
- Confirmation which is its strengthening; and
- the Eucharist which nourishes the disciples with Christ’s Body and Blood for their transformation in Christ.
Classes are held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the parish center meeting room #1 beginning in September. This is a wonderful opportunity for those interested in learning more about the Catholic Church and its rich traditions. Classes are held once a week from September through March/April and reception into the Catholic Church is on Holy Saturday.
