ASH WEDNESDAY The beginning of the Holy Season of Lent is Wednesday, February 17th.  This is one of the two days of the year when Catholics are obligated to observe the laws of fasting and abstinence. The Mass times are 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.  Please make every effort to attend with your family.

SPECIAL COLLECTION The collection on Ash Wednesday is for Aid to Eastern Europe.  Please respond generously.

LENTEN SERVICES On the Fridays of Lent, we will have Stations of the Cross at 6:30 p.m.  There will also be Stations of the Cross at 2:15 p.m. on February 19th, 26th, March 5th, 12th and 26th.

LENTEN REGULATIONS Catholics who are over the age of 18 and under the age of 60 are required to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, which means that they can eat only one complete meal and two smaller meals during the day, with no food in between.  Catholics who are over the age of 14 are required to refrain from eating meat, or any food made with meat, on Ash Wednesday and all the Fridays during Lent.

PARISH LENTEN PENANCE SERVICE will take place on Wednesday, March 3rd at 6:30 p.m. There will be a number of priests there that evening to hear individual confessions.
