October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the National Council of Catholic Women has made available a 51-page resource entitled “Women Healing the Wounds,” which provides everything women need to know about the issue and what we can do about it. St. Peter’s Council of Catholic Women will have a presentation by a member of the Chatham County, District Attorney’s Office, Domestic Violence Prosecution Team. Please join us at our regular upcoming meeting on Tuesday, October 20th, 2015, Parish Center Room #1.
“Meet, Greet & Eat” will begin at 6:15 p.m., with a short business meeting at 6:30 p.m., and the presentation to begin at 7:00 p.m. All parish women are invited and encouraged to attend.
