2018 CONFIRMATION BOOTCAMP
The Sacrament of Confirmation is regarded as the perfection of Baptism. Confirmation increases and deepens all of the graces granted at Baptism. At St. Peter the Apostle, we ask of our candidates: attendance of Religious Ed classes for at least two years, attendance at all four Boot Camp sessions, attend any retreats held for Confirmation (dates TBA), 25 hours of community service, and choosing a sponsor. Boot Camp dates are Sundays, August 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. We found this to be a very impactful time with our Confirmation Candidates over the last couple of years. Our goal is to help you kick start your child’s faith life as a young adult.
We invite all parishioners and friends to come to the LifeTeen Mass on August 19th at 5:00 p.m. to support our Confirmation candidates on their Faith Journey.
