The Sacrament of Confirmation is regarded as the perfection of Baptism. Confirmation increases and deepens all of the graces granted at Baptism. At St. Peter the Apostle, we ask of our candidates: attendance of Religious Ed classes for at least two years, attendance at all four Boot Camp sessions, attend any retreats held for Confirmation, 25 hours of community service, and choosing a sponsor. Boot Camp dates are Sundays-September 15th, 22nd, 29th and October 6th from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. We found this to be a very impactful time with our Confirmation Candidates over the last several years. Our goal is to help you kick start your child’s faith life as a young adult. We invite all parishioners, friends, and parents of our Confirmandi to come to the Lifeteen Mass this Sunday to support the candidates on their Faith Journey.
