ASH WEDNESDAY The beginning of the Holy Season of Lent is Wednesday, February 14th. This is one of the two days of the year when Catholics are obligated to observe the laws of fast and abstinence. The Mass times are 7:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Please make every effort to attend with your family.
LENTEN REGULATIONS Catholics who are over the age of 18 and under the age of 60 are required to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, which means that they can eat only one complete meal and two smaller meals during the day, with no food in between. Catholics who are over the age of 14 are required to refrain from eating any meat, or any food made with meat, on Ash Wednesday and all the Fridays during Lent.
