LENTEN SERVICES  On the Fridays of Lent, Stations of the Cross are offered at 6:30 p.m.

LENTEN PENANCE SERVICE will be held on Thursday, April 11th at 7:00 p.m.  There will be a number of priests available to hear individual confessions that evening.

LENTEN REGULATIONS  Catholics who are over the age of 18 and under the age of 60 are required to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, which means that they can eat only one complete meal and two smaller meals during the day, with no food in between.  Catholics who are over the age of 14 are required to refrain from eating any meat, or any food made with meat, on Ash Wednesday and all Fridays of Lent.

40 Days For Life, March 6 – April 14 Lent is a time for us to become closer to Our Lord and Savior by putting our stewardship into practice. You can join the battle to end abortion by praying, fasting, or giving one hour of your time by praying in front of the abortion clinic at 120 E 34th Street, off Abercorn, across the street from the Savanah Care Center.  Call Jim Nowak at 850-449-4812, if you would like to join a group to pray at the abortion clinic.  Each week during Lent we will try to get a group together and witness for Christ.   How can we as Catholics allow the scourge of abortion, especially late term ones, to continue? Every life is a gift from God.
