Catholic Scripture Study


The book being studied this year is the Acts of the Apostles. Catholic Scripture Study is an adult Bible study and is appropriate for any level of previous Bible knowledge. There is a study guide with questions that will be discussed and a DVD presentation by a priest theologian. The cost for materials is $20.

Vacation Bible School

VBSMark your summer calendars now - Vacation Bible School will be held here at St. Peter the Apostle the week of July 14th - 8th. Vacation Bible School is open to all children who will be 3 years old by September 1 to those who have completed 4th grade.

Adult Discussion Group

Religious Education
The group meets during CCD classes on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:30 pm to discuss the upcoming readings for Sunday’s Mass. Anyone interested is invited to attend. Babysitting will be available.

Women's Bible Study

Women's Bible Study group meets on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the school. Childcare is provided.

Bible Study

Monday Night Bible Study begins in Fall. The group meets on Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Daily Chapel.
The group will study the Acts of the Apostles and the Foundation of the Church.

Religious Education
K-12th Grades meet on Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30 pm in the School.

The program's main goal is to help children develop a personal relationship with Jesus and a desire to learn all they can about their Catholic faith and prepare for the Sacraments.

Religious Education for Age 3 - 12th Grade

Our parish school offers a quality education, based on Gospel values, to children ages 4 through 8th grade. The school is accredited and maintains high academic standards. A variety of extra-curricular activities, along with an extensive athletic program are offered. Please see the school web-site school.saintpetertheapostle.com for further information.

Our parish provides the opportunity for formal religious education for children who do not attend a Catholic school. The program is conducted by devoted, faith-filled Catechists who volunteer their time, love, and knowledge to spreading the Catholic faith and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pre-Cana Class

St. Paul said: "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church.... This is a great mystery, and I mean in reference to Christ and the Church" (? Eph 5:25, ? 32).

Marriage Preparations:

Please call the parish office at least six months in advance of intended marriage. Please set no dates until the priest performing the ceremony has been consulted and the church of marriage is available.

Pre-Cana Class: Couples entering into the sacrament of matrimony are required to receive pre-marital instruction. Here at St. Peter the Apostle a Pre-Cana class is held two times a year. Couples contemplating marriage can register for the class by calling Cathy Scanlon in the parish office.
