Youth Ministries

St. Peter the Apostle is proud of its youth and the many ways they serve the parish and community.

St. Peter's Youth (SPY) - For 6th, 7th and 8th graders in the parish and school, SPY meets during the month offering fun activities along with service projects and an opportunity for young people to experience spiritual growth with peers. Throughout the year this group does many service projects which are a great deal of fun. They also commit themselves to helping serve others, especially those less fortunate.

Jan. 10 - Youth Mass 5-6pm, Pizza afterwards
Jan. 17 - SPY Meeting 5-6pm, at Victory Lanes Bowling. Meet there at 4:30pm
Feb. 21 - SPY Meeting 5-6pm
Feb. 21 - Deadline for registration for JDYC. JDYC is the Junior Diocesan Youth Conference for 7-8th grades On Saturday, March 20th at St. Matthews Church, Statesboro, Ga. $30 per person. Keynote comedian Judy Mcdonald and artist Masheti Moses.
March 5 - Youth Ministry Lenten Soup Supper for Parish
March 14 - Youth Mass 5-6pm, Pizza afterwards
March 15 - CYO & SPY Living Stations Practice 4-6pm
March 19 - CYO & SPY Living Stations Practice 4-6pm
March 20 - Junior Diocesan Youth Conference - 7-8th grades, St. Matthews, Statesboro
March 21 - CYO & SPY Living Stations Practice 4-6pm
March 24 - Mandatory CYO & SPY Living Stations full rehearsal 7:30-9 in the church
March 26 - Youth Ministry Living Stations, 6:30
April 11 - Youth Mass 5-6pm, Pizza afterwards
April 16 - SPY Skate Night, 6-9pm Tybee YMCA, meet there at 5:45pm
April 25 - SPY Catholic Day @ Six Flags 6am-10pm
May 2 - SPY Bowling-4:30-5:30 May 2nd-meet at bowling alley please bring money for bowling) drinks provided
May 9 & 23 - NO SPY due to mothers day and Pentecost
May 16 - SPY End of the Year Flag Football and Pizza Party at St. Peters 5-7pm (RSVP needed by the 12th of May)

Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) - St. Peter the Apostle youth group is for high school aged teenagers grades 9-12. The group typically meets on Sunday for a wide variety of social activities. The C.Y.O. is a great opportunity for young people to come together and spend time with friends in a Christian environment.
