Stewardship

StewardshipLifeStewardship is the active way, through Time, Talent, and Treasure, that we live out our discipleship. In this way, we show our gratitude to God for His many blessings by returning to Him a portion of all He has given us. Stewardship can help each of us use our talents to find areas where you can serve our parish, our school, and our community.

In 1992, the Bishops of the United States defined Stewardship as follows:

“We receive God’s gifts gratefully, cultivate them responsibly, share them lovingly with others, and return them with increase to the Lord.”

(Stewardship: A Disciple’s Response, U.S. Bishops Pastoral 1992)
