Confirmation Spectacular

Since Confirmation in this diocese is celebrated anywhere between 6th-9th grade, and JDYC is presently focused around 3 of those 4 grade levels, we're changing the focus of JDYC to Confirmation and renaming it the CONFIRMATION SPECTACULAR.

This one day program is designed to help participants (grades 6-9) understand more deeply not only the sacrament's meaning but also the relevance of the gifts of the Holy Spirit for their lives today. This year's program will focus on th eSpirit's gift of WISDOM.

• Sunday, October 23, at St. Peter the Apostle in Savannah.

The program begins at 10 AM and conclude at 5 PM, and the registration fee will be around $30/person which includes lunch. The program will conclude with celebration of the Mass, and our keynoters are ODDWALK MINISTRIES (Shannon Cerneka and Orin Johnson). The program will be geared to address the developmental needs of 6th-9th graders.

Parishes are encouraged to utilize the CONFIRMATION SPECTACULAR as their Confirmation Retreat, and the program can easily be utilized at any time - even multiple times - over the years leading up to the celebration of the Sacrament.
