REMINDER: Knights of Columbus Blood Drive
Short on time? Don’t think you can spare a few minutes to donate blood? Well, have you heard about the ‘Rapid Pass’. For those donors who have access and use computers, AVAILABLE ON DAY OF THE DRIVE, please go to www.redcrossblood.org/rapidpass to read all of the packet of information and answer questions you would normally take care of at the drive when presenting. You can do this first thing in the morning over coffee when you are getting ready for your day, or on your way out of work. Once you get to the drive, you will only have to show proof of ID, acknowledge that you have read the info (you can print out a receipt or show it from a mobile device in your email). Once you are checked in, we check your iron and ask a couple of additional questions – and off to the bed for your donation you’ll go!
The average time it will take them to donate on site is approximately 25 minutes. This will basically cutting donation time in half.
